NC State made a late run in the first half against Louisville after Trevor Lacey connected on a 3-pointer. Moments later, Cat Barber tried extending the lead with a fast break layup. The Wolfpack floor general missed the layup as he was sent to the deck.
The ball ended up directly in Barber’s hands, who dished an assist to Ralston Turner while lying on the ground. Turner’s triple put NC State up five, but a last-second bucket from Louisville’s Terry Rozier sent the two teams to the locker room with the Wolfpack up 33-31.
