Virginia suffered a frustrating upset loss to Michigan State on Sunday afternoon as the Cavalier offense struggled to find consistency.

Senior forward Darion Atkins had some choice words about the play of his teammates when addressing the media after the game. According to Martin Rickman of Uproxx, Atkins called out the effort of his teammates and also questioned their intensity.

As you can see, Atkins wasn’t pleased with the way Virginia played on Sunday and he was one of only two Cavaliers in double figures. The 6-foot-8 forward finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds and also added two big blocks on the afternoon.

Since he’s a senior, Atkins is probably feeling pretty emotional with his college career coming to a close and he certainly didn’t feel the need to say these things behind closed doors.
