Was Thursday the best day in the history of the NCAA tournament?

It made a very strong case. It also brought in a record-setting audience. The NCAA announced that 16 games on Thursday averaged a 6.6/14 overnight ratings/share, marking the highest rating ever for the first Thursday of the NCAA tournament.
