Marquette landed their fifth commitment in the Class of 2015 on Tuesday, as four-star point guard Traci Carter committed to Steve Wojciechowski.

Carter spent last year’s spring and summer live periods sitting out while he recovered from a knee injury, which kept him out of sight and out of mind for many. But the Philly native plays like your typical Philly point guard: he’s tough, he’s aggressive, he defends. He’s also one of the best point guards that was available.

He’s also the piece that brings together quite a recruiting class for Wojo. The Golden Eagles already have commitments from top ten recruit and center Henry Ellenson, off guards Haanif Cheatham and Sacir Anim, and big man Matt Heldt.

With the amount of youth currently on the Marquette roster, the future is quite bright in Milwaukee.
