Kansas State took a hit to its rotation during the win against Oklahoma on Saturday as reserve forward Brandon Bolden left the game with what appears to be a broken left wrist.
According to a report from the Wichita Eagle, Bolden fell to the floor late in the first half and injured his wrist and face. Trainers wrapped an air splint on Bolden’s left arm and helped him to the locker room and he did not return.
Head coach Bruce Weber said the initial outlook is that it’s a broken wrist, but they won’t be sure until further tests are completed. Bolden played in 17 games and averaged 4.2 minutes per game this season for the Wildcats, but saw more minutes the last two Kansas State games against West Virginia and Oklahoma.
The 6-foot-11 sophomore is a transfer from Georgetown and played nine minutes against the Mountaineers, the best game he’s played since a season-opening win over Southern Utah.
