Ohio State head coach Thad Matta still hasn’t offered up any details into why he suspended forward Marc Loving, but it does appear to have an end date.

On Tuesday, Matta told Cleveland.com that Loving could “maybe” back in the lineup or Saturday’s game against Michigan State.

Prior to Ohio State’s game at Purdue, Matta announced that Loving had “temporarily lost his privilege to wear the Scarlet and Gray.” Ohio State lost by two at Purdue, but followed that up with a 79-60 win at Rutgers on Sunday.

The Buckeyes play Penn State at home on Wednesday and it does not appear that Loving will be available.

Loving is averaging 11.7 points this season and shooting 53.2 percent from three.
