Harvard landed a very nice commitment to its 2016 class on Sunday as four-star big man Chris Lewis committed to the Crimson. The commitment of Lewis was first reported by Rivals.com‘s Eric Bossi.
The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Lewis is a native of Alpharetta, Georgia and the son of former New York Jets linebacker and three-time Pro Bowler Mo Lewis. The younger Lewis is turning to hoops, however, and is the No. 96 overall player in the 2016 class, according to Rivals. He’s Harvard’s first hoops commitment in the 2016 class.
Lewis also had offers from ACC and SEC schools, so this is a really nice pickup for head coach Tommy Amaker and the Crimson. Harvard continues to recruit at a power-conference level under Amaker and regularly is in the mix for top-100 national prospects.
