While the chances of Rutgers pulling off what would be one of the most surprising wins of the season Sunday evening when No. 4 Wisconsin visits the RAC are slim, the Scarlet Knights will not have to deal with one of the toughest individual matchups in college basketball.

Sunday afternoon Wisconsin announced that senior 7-footer Frank Kaminsky will miss the game as a result of an elbow he took to the head in the Badgers’ win over Purdue Wednesday night, with the program noting that Kaminsky suffered a concussion.

With Kaminsky sidelined guard Bronson Koenig has been moved into the starting lineup, with junior Sam Dekker and sophomore Nigel Hayes being the starters in the front court. Without Kaminsky there should be more available minutes for fellow senior Duje Dukan, who’s averaging 6.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in just over 19 minutes of action per game.

The Badgers can also call upon Vitto Brown, who’s playing an average of 9.1 minutes per game in his sophomore campaign.
