Sterling Gibbs gives No. 19 Seton Hall a win at Creighton with late jumper (VIDEO)

Sterling Gibbs is building quite a resume to make a claim as the nation’s most clutch player.

The Seton Hall point guard made a number of big shots late in wins over Villanova and St. John’s, and he added to that on Saturday as he hit this pull-up three to give the Pirates a win at Creighton:

The Bluejays aren’t as good as they were last season, but road games in league play are never easy wins, particularly in an arena that routinely packs in 17,000 fans. Oklahoma has already lost at Creighton this season.

Seton Hall was coming off of a loss at Xavier earlier this week. He finished with 24 points and four assists and has done a great job of making Pirate fans -- and coaches -- forget about the fact that their star freshman Isaiah Whitehead is dealing with a stress fracture in his foot.

Gibbs is the younger brother of former Pitt guard Ashton Gibbs. There’s a third Gibbs brother in the pipeline as well; Temple is currently a junior in high school in New Jersey.
