Georgia dropped its SEC opener Tuesday night, losing 79-75 to Arkansas in a game they led by as many as 13 points. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs there was also a personnel loss to address, with reserve forward Kenny Paul Geno suffering a broken left wrist in Tuesday’s defeat according to the Associated Press.

According to the report Geno, who’s averaging 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in just over nine minutes of action per game, will undergo surgery Thursday. No timeframe has been given for how long the sophomore will be sidelined. Geno finished Tuesday’s game with three points in seven minutes of action.

Geno’s played double digit minutes in just five of Georgia’s 13 games, and his season high offensively is four points (in two separate games). With Geno out of the lineup the 9.5 mpg he played should be absorbed by players already in the rotation, such as starters Kenny Gaines and Juwan Parker.
