Air Force got some bad news on Tuesday when it was revealed that the injury suffered by Kamryn Williams is a torn Achilles’ tendon.

The injury will end Williams’ basketball career. He’s a 6-foot-8 senior forward, and he also happens to be the leading rebounder and second-leading scorer for the Falcons. He was an explosive leaper and a team captain as well.

Williams has played too many games to be eligible for a medical redshirt, meaning that the New Year’s Eve game in which he suffered the injury was his last as a collegian.
