Game of the Night: No. 18 Oklahoma at No. 11 Texas, 9:00 p.m.

With all due respect to Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas look like they might end up being the two best teams in the Big 12 this season. Oklahoma won their first league game on Saturday, with a fairly dominating performance against Baylor at home. But a road trip to Texas, who now have Isaiah Taylor healthy, will be a different story. Can the Sooners spread out Texas? And how will Myles Turner handle Big 12 front lines?

The Other Game of the Night: No. 14 Notre Dame at No. 19 North Carolina, 7:00 p.m.

Marcus Paige was supposed to be the best guard in the ACC this season, but as it has turned out, Jerian Grant has been the best back court player in the conference. He’s carried the Irish to a terrific start to the season, but there are still questions as to whether or not they are ‘for real’. The Tar Heels have some of those same questions, which is what makes this matchup so tantalizing.

Mid-Major Matchup of the Day: FGCU at UC Santa Barbara, 10:00 p.m.

Dunk City has one of the best back courts at the mid-major level, and while they have some athletes along their front line, it will be interesting to see if they can handle Alan Williams in the paint.

Three Things to Watch For

1. No. 17 West Virginia at Texas Tech, 7:00 p.m.: Will the Mountaineers get Juwan Staten back after he missed the TCU game with the flu?

2. Indiana at Michigan State, 7:00 p.m.: The Hoosiers and the Spartans seem to be trending in different directions. Indiana has proven to be entertaining and high-scoring, but can they win tough road games in Big Ten play?

3. Nebraska at Iowa, 9:00 p.m.: Iowa has won a pair of impressive road games this season, beating North Carolina and Ohio State, but they’ve been inconsistent at home. Nebraska? Few teams in the country need a win as badly as Nebraska does.

4. Wofford at Chattanooga, 8:00 p.m.: The two best teams in the SoCon square off on Monday night.

5. Northwestern State at Sam Houston State, 9:00 p.m.: With all due respect to Stephen F. Austin, these two teams look like they may be the best of the Southland. Jalan West is a name you need to know.
