Cincinnati announced that head coach Mick Cronin will not coach on Tuesday as the Bearcats take on N.C. State.

Associate head coach Larry Davis will continue to lead the team, the statement said.

This is the third game that Cronin will miss. He’s been out since Dec. 20th, when a checkup for chronic headaches that he was dealing with revealed an unruptured aneurysm. He’s been ordered by doctor’s to refrain from coaching. If you’re ever seen Cronin on the sidelines, you’ll understand why.

Last week, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported that Cronin likely won’t need surgery, but there still is no timetable for his return.
