Jim Boeheim makes fun of his team ... again

Jim Boeheim has been on fire in press conferences this season.

Last week, after his team barely hung on to beat Louisiana Tech at home, Boeheim went on a rant about his team, spending his 15 minute session with the media explaining how bad his team was.

You can watch it all here.

Some of it is actually pretty funny.

And it got even better after Monday’s win over Colgate. From Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician:

Q: Ron Patterson had a breakthrough game today. How do you feel about his performance and perhaps an increased role for him?

A: I think we’ve had this question once before and we’ve seen the results, so, let’s just see what the results are.

Q: On Chris McCullough ...

A: If he’s a lottery pick I don’t how he could possibly struggle against Colgate. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

I got a better chance of winning the lottery...and I don’t buy tickets.

I don’t think [other teams] are even playing him. I don’t think they’re worried about him to be honest with you. He’s got a long way to go, he’s just gotta work hard and work after the game and, you know, gain 20-30 pounds and he’ll be a good player someday.

Q: Is Tyler Roberson starting to figure things out?

A: I think he knows he’s in Syracuse. Have a good holiday.

When Boeheim went on his last rant, it resulted in the Orange nearly knocking off Villanova in Philly. But they blew the game down the stretch, which seems to be the cure. The more he makes fun of them in the media, the better they play.

I guess this means that Syracuse is destined for a monster run in ACC play?
