The 6-foot-2 Croaker is a native of Florida and was actually committed to the Racers in high school before ultimately backing off of his pledge and ending up at Texas. Croaker averaged 1.6 points and 1 rebound per game in 9.4 minutes of action per contest in 2014-15, but the guard failed to enter the Longhorns’ games against Iowa, Cal, UConn or Kentucky.
Even without starting point guard Isaiah Taylor in the lineup, Croaker couldn’t get consistent minutes in the Texas rotation this season and ending up at Murray State is probably a better fit. Now we get to see how Croaker ends up at the school he originally committed to, and when he committed to head coach Steve Prohm in high school, it was seen as a major coup and a guard that could have an Isaiah Canaan-type of impact in the OVC.
