Game of the Night: NC-Central at Memphis, 8:00 p.m.

The Tigers have been a disaster this season. Their guard play has been spectacularly bad -- Kedren Johnson was not the savior everyone expected him to be -- and it didn’t get any easier when Markel Crawford went down with a knee sprain. And NC-Central? That’s LeVelle Moton’s bunch, and while they’re not exactly going to be garnering any top 25 votes, they are one of the better mid-majors in the country. Moton is one of the best young coaches in the country. Don’t be surprised if the Tigers lose another one at home.

Three Things to Watch For:

1. Elon at No. 2 Duke, 7:00 p.m.: Duke’s first game since beating Wisconsin at Wisconsin.

2. Texas Southern at No. 9 Gonzaga, 9:00 p.m.: The Zags end their streak of three straight Pac-12 opponents by squaring off with Texas Southern on Monday night. TSU actually does have some talent on their roster this season, but they’ve yet to really put a scare into a high major opponents.

3. Missouri State at Oral Roberts, 8:00 p.m.: A solid mid-major matchup between one of the best teams in the MVC and one of the best teams in the Summit League.
