Georgia will be without junior guard Kenny Gaines for a little while after the 6-foot-3 junior was hospitalized during a home win against Colorado.
According to a report from Tanya Sichynsky of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gaines sprained the AC joint in his right shoulder chasing down a ball with 11:59 left in the second half. Gaines’ shoulder was crushed when a Colorado player fell on his arm. His right arm is currently in a sling.
“It’d be a significant blow if he’s injured and we’d have to have the next man really step up,” Georgia head coach Mark Fox said after the game.
