No. 4 Duke improved to 7-0 on the season Sunday afternoon, beating previously undefeated Army 93-73 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The win was also the 990th in the career of head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who graduated from West Point and is a safe bet to reach the 1,000-win plateau this season.
Among the highlights Sunday was the baseline alley-oop that freshmen Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor combined for in the second half. Okafor, who was also fouled on the play, finished with a game-high 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and Jones added 16 points and a career-high ten assists.
Next up for Duke: No. 2 Wisconsin, Wednesday night in Madison.
