Providence is coming off of a nice stretch of wins against Florida State and Notre Dame at a neutral site over the weekend, but the event left them with some injuries going forward.

According to Kevin McNamara of the Providence Journal, the Friars could be without starting point guard Kris Dunn and small forward Jalen Lindsey for the next two games. Those two could miss the Yale and Kentucky games with ankle injuries, per Friar head coach Ed Cooley. Providence will host Yale on Nov. 28 and then travel to Kentucky on Nov. 30.

Dunn is having quite an impact as the team’s point guard on both sides of the ball as he’s great operating the pick-and-roll and also defending. Lindsey has proven himself to be a nice weapon off the bench, as he’s shooting 50 percent from the field and on three-pointers in a little over 18 minutes off the bench this season.

While its going to be difficult to beat Kentucky with any healthy roster, Yale could be a sneaky trap game, as they are a tough team in the Ivy League this season. Hopefully Dunn, who has been injured often in his college career, and Lindsey can get healthy soon because this Providence team with LaDontae Henton is really fun the watch.
