The college basketball season will begin on Friday, and for Louisville and Minnesota they will travel to the U.S. Air Station in Puerto Rico to take part in the third annual Armed Forces Classic. This opening night non-conference showdown will pit Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino against his son, Richard.

Days before the two Pitinos go head-to-head for the second time, adidas revealed the uniforms Louisville will wear for the occasion. The Coast Guard inspired uniforms feature the Cardinals’ traditional red and white blended with camouflage and blue. The back of the jerseys read “Semper Paratus”, the U.S. Coast Guard motto, which is Latin for “Always Ready”.

Friday night’s contest is one of the top 25 non-conference games for the 2014-2015 season.
