Among major commitments in the 2016 class, UCLA pledge Kobe Paras is a bit of an unknown as a national commodity. Rivals doesn’t even have a star ranking for the 6-foot-5 shooting guard and there wasn’t much in terms of recent highlights.
But that’s all changed thanks to this new mixtape from Ball is Life.
Paras has been a quiet national recruit, but a solid mixtape like this should make him some new fans and get Kobe more in the national spotlight. The Bruins look like they have some nice backcourt pieces entering campus the next two classes as Prince Ali and Aaron Holiday arrive in 2015 followed by Lonzo Ball and Paras in 2016.
UCLA head coach Steve Alford has done a nice job connecting with guards out west and he’s got a bright future with commitments in the next two classes to handle and shoot from the perimeter.
