Navy’s perimeter depth took another hit this week as Michael Brown broke his jaw in practice and will miss the next month.
According to the Capital Gazette, Brown dove for a loose ball in practice and collided with a teammate. He suffered the injury when his face hit the floor.
Brown averaged 10.2 minutes as a freshman last season and was expected to slide into this starting lineup this year due to a number of injuries that have hit the Midshipmen. Junior Kendall Knorr still isn’t practicing due to a knee problem while Tim Abruzzo tore his ACL earlier this preseason.
Navy went 9-21 last season.
