Jeff Newberry throws down 360 dunk at Oklahoma State’s Hoops and Homecoming (VIDEO)

Friday was a big night for midnight madness events across the country.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo dressed as a member of KISS. Xavier head coach Chris Mack and his two daughters rapped “Paul Revere” by the Beastie Boys.

Izzo and Mack have memorable entrances to their respective midnight madness every year, which usually overshadows other moments from different celebrations across the country. One of the moments that occurred on Friday night happened in Stillwater, as Oklahoma State newcomer Jeff Newberry threw down a 360 dunk during a scrimmage at OK State’s Hoops and Homecoming.

Newberry joins the program from New Mexico Junior College, and was listed as a top 10 JuCo transfer by College Basketball Talk earlier this month. The 6-foot-2 junior is expected to play both guard spots in a back court that has lost Marcus Smart, Markel Brown, Brian Williams and Stevie Clark from a season ago.
