2K Sports used to be big among college basketball fans for making the classic College Hoops 2K series that ended in 2008, but more recently, the company is more know for hosting an early-season event in New York.

According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, four of the nation’s best programs will be featured in the 2015 2K Sports Classic.

Duke, Georgetown, VCU and Wisconsin will be featured in next season’s version of the event. Dates have not yet been set for the two-day event at Madison Square Garden. Winners and losers typically play each the following night.

This year’s 2K Sports Classic is Nov. 2o-21 and features opening night match-ups of Texas and Iowa and Syracuse and Cal.

Duke and Wisconsin are both top-10 teams and Final Four contenders this season and actually play each other in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 4.

VCU and Georgetown will both compete for NCAA Tournament bids this season and should have talented teams come next season for this event.

Overall, this is a solid field and should feature plenty of talent.
