UCLA picked up another 2016 pledge on Saturday morning as local guard Kobe Paras committed to the Bruins and head coach Steve Alford.

The news was first reported by Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

Paras plays for the Compton Magic in grassroots and is a 6-foot-6 guard. Not much is known about the game of Paras from national scouts. He has no stars on Rivals and Evan Daniels has never seen him play.

Although Paras isn’t a known national commodity, UCLA has a commitment from another 2016 guard, Lonzo Ball, who makes other players better with the ball in his hands and he’s a five-star guard to go with him.

UCLA also has Prince Ali and Aaron Holiday committed in the 2015 class, which gives them a ton of backcourt talent in the next few classes.
