After receiving footwear and apparel from adidas for the last 17 years, Notre Dame signed a highly lucrative deal with Under Armour in January. At the time of the announcement the deal was touted as the largest in the history of collegiate athletics, and given the power of the Notre Dame brand it’s understandable that a company looking to strengthen its position in the sports business landscape would shell out that kind of money.
Thursday the men’s basketball program unveiled its home uniform for the upcoming season, with sophomore guard Demetrius Jackson and senior guard/forward Pat Connaughton among the players chosen to model the new look. Below are tweets from the program’s official Twitter account, with Jackson showing off the front of the uniform and Connaughton the back.

It’s a pretty simple look for Notre Dame, which has yet to release photos of the road (and any possible alternates) uniform that they’ll wear in 2014-15.
