After once considering a spring decision, five-star point guard Isaiah Briscoe could decide “soon,” according to a report from Jeremy Schneider of NJ Advance Media.

When speaking about the recruiting process in late summer, Briscoe often referred to a spring timeline in his recruitment, but this is a change of plans and his recruiting process has been accelerated recently.

The New Jersey native and 6-foot-3 guard recently took in the Rutgers football win against Michigan and had official visits to Kentucky and UConn in recent weeks. Missouri and St. John’s have scheduled official visits for Briscoe as well.

The No. 9 overall player in the 2015 class, according to Rivals, also has other schools like Seton Hall and Villanova pursuing him as well.

The Roselle Catholic point guard is one of the best playmakers in the 2015 class and whoever lands him is getting a dynamic guard who can score or make plays as a passer.

There are some that believe Kentucky is the favorite, but there are a lot of good schools on the east coast still vying for Briscoe’s ability.
