Colorado lands commitment from guard in the Class of 2016

Colorado landed their first commitment in the Class of 2016 on Tuesday as Deleon Brown pledged to Tad Boyle after an official visit over the weekend.

Brown is a 6-foot-4 guard from Grand Rapids, Michigan, that is currently ranked as a two-star recruit in the Class of 2015. He’ll be spending a year in prep school before he ends up enrolling at Colorado.

Brown had also been recruited by the likes of Central Michigan, Akron and Illinois State, although Purdue had shown some interest as well.
