Less than two weeks ago five-star shooting guard Antonio Blakeney announced his decision to reopen his recruitment, with the former Louisville commit stating that he would still consider Rick Pitino’s program moving forward. Whether or not that is the case remains to be seen, but Blakeney has continued with the recruiting process and according to a report has set two official visits.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Blakeney has made plans to take official visits to Missouri (October 17) and LSU (November 7). Those are two of the schools that were reported to be in the running to host Blakeney on official visits at the time of his de-commitment from Louisville, with Kentucky and Oregon being the other schools.

Along with those five schools USC was a finalist for Blakeney’s services at the time of his commitment, and head coach Andy Enfield visited Blakeney earlier this week.

Of course Blakeney’s decision to reopen his recruitment wasn’t without controversy, as there were no shortage of opinions as to why he did so and the impact shoe companies have on college basketball recruiting. Obviously Blakeney has plenty of time to make a decision, and it would likely be best for him to take all five official visits before making a decision.
