Five-star prospect Malik Newman is beginning to focus on the recruiting process and the Class of 2015 guard has set five in-home visits and an official visit.

According to Courtney Cronin of The Clarion-Ledger, the 6-foot-3 Newman will have five schools visit him beginning on Tuesday when college programs can conduct in-home visits and see prospects at their high schools.

Kansas and Kentucky will see Newman on Tuesday the 9th while N.C. State, Texas A&M and UConn have made time on Wednesday the 10th to see Newman.

The No. 3 prospect in the 2015 class, according to Rivals, also has his first official visit set for October 11th as the scoring guard will go to Texas A&M.

Although Newman is getting some schools involved in his recruitment, according to Cronin, he’s setting a list of five schools before his senior high school season in November before deciding after the fall signing period.
