Tennessee State loses two to transfer

dana ford

Tennessee State is losing two players to the junior college ranks as 6-foot-1 guard Jamonte Graham and 6-foot-8 forward Jamontae Davis are heading to Columbia State Community College.

The transfers were first reported by Mike Organ of The Tennessean.

Graham started six games last season for the Tigers and averaged 4.5 points per game while shooting 36 percent from the field. Davis didn’t play last season due to academic reasons.

Coming off of a 5-25 season, new head coach Dana Ford losing a couple of players before the season is tough, but it also frees up scholarships to bring in new players that can help the Tigers turn things around.
