Mike Aaman has found a landing spot.
The 6-foot-9 New Jersey native is headed to Wagner to play out his college basketball career. He originally committed to play for the Seahawks out of high school, but ended up following Danny Hurley from Wagner to Rhode Island.
Aaman spent two years at URI, where he averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 boards as a freshman. He only played in five games as a sophomore, however, as issues with concussions ended his Rhody career. He’s had seven concussions in his life, five of which came in his two seasons at URI.
Aaman has two seasons of eligibility remaining, but he could end up getting a waiver from the NCAA to give him a third year back.
