Kansas will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of basketball being played in Phog Allen Fieldhouse by inviting the last four coaches to have led the Jayhawk program: Ted Owens, Larry Brown, Roy Williams and Bill Self.

The celebration will take place on Oct. 27th, and the proceeds from the tickets that will be sold will benefit charities selected by the coaches.

It’s crazy to think about it, but in those 60 seasons in which Kansas has played at the Phog, only six coaches have stalked the sidelines. On that night in October, the men who have led the program from the past 50 years will all be under the same roof. That’s pretty incredible when you stop to think about it.

Combined, those four men have gone 653-78 in those 50 seasons, with Self’s home court record of 175-9 (!!!) in 11 years leading the way.
