Merv Lindsay is on the move again.

The former Kansas forward has has for and been granted a release from the New Mexico program, according to a release from the school. The Albuquerque Journal reported the news on Tuesday night.

Lindsay, an AAU teammate of former Jayhawk Kevin Young, wound up at Kansas along with Young, but didn’t get playing time there as a freshman. He transferred after his freshman season and sat out 2012-2013 with the Lobos before seeing action in just 20 games this past season.

He has two seasons of eligibility remaining but only two years in which to use them. If he transfers to another Division I program, he will need a waiver or he will have to sit out a year and will only get one more year of basketball.
