On Monday, former Louisville forward and Colorado State transfer Chane Behanan announced he would enter the 2014 NBA Draft.

However, during the 2013-2014 season, Behanan made most of his headlines off the court. He was dismissed from the Louisville basketball team in December, and earlier this month was cited for marijuana possession.

Behanan pleaded not guilty to that citation on Tuesday afternoon in Jefferson County District Court, according to the Mark Boxley of the Courier-Journal.

Court documents state that Behanan’s pretrial is set for June 11 at 9 a.m.

Behanan was an instrumental part to the Cardinals’ 2013 National Title, averaging 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He appeared in only 12 games this past season for Louisville, averaging 7.6 and 6.3 boards in 18.6 minutes per game.

He announced his decision to transfer to Colorado State in January.
