Can you guess which school has produced the most players currently on an NBA team in the Playoffs?
Duke has eight. Kentucky, North Carolina and Kansas all have six. Solid numbers from some of the most well-known basketball factories in the country, but the team that has sent the most alumni into this year’s NBA postseason is … Florida.
Nine former Gators, five of whom are starters, are currently trying to win an NBA title: Bradley Beal, Matt Bonner, Nick Calathes, Udonis Haslem, David Lee, Mike Miller, Joakim Noah, Chandler Parsons and Marreese Speights. That list doesn’t include Al Horford, either, who plays for the Atlanta Hawks and is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
