Kentucky freshman guard Aaron Harrison struggled for a significant portion of Sunday’s Midwest Region final against No. 2 Michigan, but when the stakes were at their highest he stepped forward. The biggest shot Harrison made down the stretch was a three-pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining, giving the Wildcats the 75-72 win over the Wolverines.
Kentucky, which will play No. 2 Wisconsin next Saturday, is looking to become the second eight-seed to win the national title with Villanova (1985) being the first.
