Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, and even Wayne Selden are common household names when talking about Kansas. One Jayhawk, however, who may have flown under the radar is Frank Mason, the freshman guard who may just be the team’s most athletic player. As the team in practiced in St. Louis, prior to their opening round game against Eastern Kentucky, Mason — who is only 5-foot-11! — back flipped several times before casually slamming the ball through the basket. The amazing aspect about this video is that Mason doesn’t have a running start before he begins back-flipping — he is standing perfectly still, and then, like a world-class gymnast, he starts manipulating his body.
