POSTERIZED: Jabari Parker puts his stamp on the Maryland-Duke rivalry (VIDEO)

Jabari Parker

With Maryland set to join the Big Ten Conference next season. Jabari Parker, in all likelihood, won’t be back in Durham for a sophomore season. So, Saturday afternoon was Parker’s only opportunity to leave his mark on the storied Maryland-Duke rivalry.

And he did just that.

With 1:20 left, Duke drew up a play for Parker on the baseline during a timeout. It didn’t initially work, but Rasheed Sulaimon was able to get Parker the ball in the corner. He used a jab step before attacking the basket before rising up and throwing down a monster dunk. That slam gave Duke a 68-67 lead.

Charles Mitchell’s last-second shot rolled off the rim, and Duke held on for a 69-67 win over Maryland.
