Oregon head coach Dana Altman has benefited from transfer students, look no further than Mike Moser (UNLV) Joseph Young (Houston) and Jason Calliste (Detroit) helping the Ducks get off to a 13-1 start.

Altman hopes that continues with the addition of former Providence forward Brandon Austin, who decided to head to Eugene on Tuesday night according to ESPN Basketball Insider Jeff Goodman.

Austin, ranked as the No. 45 overall recruit in the Class of 2013 by Rivals, had initially committed to Penn State before ending up at PC. Before he even suited up in a game for Ed Cooley he was suspended indefinitely along with fellow freshman Rodney Bullock. On Dec. 23, Cooley announced that neither freshman would play this season. On Jan. 4 Austin decided to leave the school.

The 6-foot-6 small forward joins a four-man recruiting class for Oregon next season.
