Washington announces non-conference schedule

The Washington Huskies and head coach Lorenzo Romar announced their non-conference schedule on Wednesday and it includes the 2K Sports Classic and the potential to meet UConn twice in the same non-conference slate.

The (first) battle of the Huskies is scheduled for Sunday, December 22nd as UConn travels out west to Alaska Airlines Arena to face Washington, but the two teams could also meet as part of the 2K Classic in New York in late November.

Washington will first face Indiana in the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden on November 21st, but UConn is in the opposite bracket against Boston College and could meet Washington again if the two teams both win or lose in the semifinal contests.

The Huskies also will travel to San Diego State for the first of two true road games on December 8th and also travels to New Orleans to face Tulane on December 17th.
