Jim Boeheim and Mike Krzyzewski say down with the ACC Digital Network to discuss their future together in the new ACC and how it will affect their friendship and what restaurants they go to eat at.
It’s all cheerful and funny until Boeheim drops a bomb at the 1:50 mark.
“He’s not even thinking of retiring,” Boeheim said when asked why Coach K doesn’t get bombarded with retirement questions. “I am thinking of retiring.”
Cue the unbridled speculation!
Actually, don’t. This was said all in good fun, and Boeheim even copped to the fact that his curmudgeonly character is “all part of the fun”.
Anyway, these two seem to be best buds, so it should be fun to watch them go up against each other as conference foes this season.
