A former University of Tennessee strength and conditioning coach has been arrested after allegedly breaking into the school’s on-campus arena with a saw around 4 a.m. on Feb. 23, causing over $700 in damages and stealing more than $4,000 in cash.

Troy Wills, who was hired in 2003, spent one year on the staff of current Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin and was let go last season. From GoVolsXtra:

Police say video shows Wills walking down a Thompson-Boling Arena hallway “with what appears to be a saw in his hand” and “attempting to hide (the saw) underneath his coat” at 3:53 a.m. Saturday. The affidavit said he was next seen on camera leaving at 4:31 a.m.

He was charged with burglary, which is a Class D felony, and vandalism, which is a Class E felony. Wills was caught on camera during the break-in, with footage below from WATE-TV.
