The NCAA tournament returns to Madison Square Garden in 2014

Earlier today, Raphielle Johnson brought you the news that the First Four would remain in Dayton for the 2014 and 2015 NCAA tournaments.

The NCAA has since sent out the full release for the sites of the 2014 and 2015 NCAA tournaments, the most notable of which is Madison Square Garden. The Garden played host to 71 tournament games from 1943-1961, but there hasn’t been an NCAA tournament game in the World’s Most Famous Arena since. By the time March, 2014 rolls around, it will be 53 years between games.
