Kansas State adds a second Class of 2013 commit

Bruce Weber has added a second member to his first class as the head coach at Kansas State.

Marcus Foster, a 6-foot-2 guard from Texas, pledged to the Wildcats after taking an official visit to the campus over the weekend. Foster also had offers from California, Oklahoma, SMU and Lehigh, but he had recently trimmed his list to Kansas State and Creighton. He was scheduled to head to Omaha next weekend.

Foster joins Alex Etherington as current K-State commits. Etherington is a 6-foot-5 wing out of Indiana.

According to CBSSports.com recruiting analyst Jeff Borzello, Foster is a good pickup for Weber:

When Foster’s 3-point shot is falling, he can be very solid. He has good range and his strength enables him to get into the lane and finish through contact.
