Missouri is quickly becoming Transfer U. under head coach Frank Haith.
For the fifth time in the past year, Haith has landed a high-profile transfer, this time in the form of former Tulsa guard Jordan Clarkson, per CBSSports.com. Clarkson, who averaged 16.5 points and 3.9 rebounds for the Golden Hurricane as a sophomore, joins Earnest Ross (Auburn), Keion Bell (Pepperdine), Jabari Brown (Oregon) and Alex Oriakhi (UConn) as kids transferring into the Missouri program.
Clarkson’s name should sound familiar. Last month, he made headlines as Tulsa’s AD only granted him a release to three schools. Eventually, Clarkson’s family and the university came to an agreement on where he would be allowed to transfer. Originally, Missouri was one of the schools that was banned.
Clarkson will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2013-2014.
