PITTSBURGH--Physically, the tools are there for 2013 Roselle Catholic (N.J.) and NJ Roadrunners forward Tyler Roberson.

He is a Top 20 recruit in the country, sought after by programs that include Florida, Syracuse, Villanova, Kansas, Kanas State, Seton Hall, and Southern Methodist.

“It’s mostly the same schools,” he told NBCSports.com, with not much changing since his high school season. “They’re all recruiting me pretty hard.”

At 6-7, 200 pounds, he has put on muscle since this time last season, and is beginning to unlock the physical gifts that make many believe he could be an effective high-major player.

On Saturday in a loss to NJABC/We R 1, he was working inside and in the mid-range, and can sometimes his use his back-to-the basket game to score.

“I feel like I’m getting better every time I step on the floor,” he said. “The way I play, I feel like I’m becoming better and better.”

He has no upcoming visits planned, he says, but will continue to be receptive to schools in the recruiting process throughout the summer.
