Julysses Nobles, a junior who averaged 8.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 3.1 apg in 28 starts at the point for Arkansas this past season, has decided to leave the program.

“I have enjoyed my time as a Razorback,” Nobles said in a statement. “After speaking with Coach Anderson, I feel it is time for me to move on.”

Nobles is the fourth player to transfer out of Arkansas and the fifth player to leave the program since Anderson took over. Rotnei Clarke left for Butler, Glenn Bryant transferred to Eastern Michigan and Jeff Peterson spent his final season in Tallahassee with Florida State. Freshman and leading scorer BJ Young has also declared for the NBA Draft, but he can still pull his name out before the April 10th deadline.

“I appreciate everything that Julysses did for the Razorback program during his three years,” Anderson said. “He is a good young man who will continue to grow and mature. I wish him the best as he pursues another opportunity to play basketball and earn his degree.”
