Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv is reporting that Wagner signees Mike Aaman and Kameron Mitchell have been granted their releases, in the wake of the departure of coach Danny Hurley to Rhode Island.

Hurley took the Rhode Island job in mid-March, leaving the fate of his four signees uncertain.

Mitchell is a 6-2, 185-pound guard from Jacksonville, Fl., who signed with the Seahawks in October. He is rated a two-star prospect by major recruiting services. He was also recruited by schools that include Stony Brook and Appalachian State.

Aaman is a two-star recruit from New Jersey. At 6-8, 210 pounds, he would be a big body in the NEC conference.

Two players, Eric Fanning and Michigan State transfer Dwaun Anderson, remain signed under letters of intent to Wagner.

The Seahawks finished 25-6 in 2011-12, including 15-3 in the NEC. They pulled an upset over Pittsburgh in late December.
