Not long until Nerlens Noel chooses a college!

nerlensnoel

Nerlens Noel will delight one college basketball program next Wednesday when he announces his destination for the 2012-13 season. And it’s a decision that’ll affect the 2013 title race.

It’s down to Kentucky, Syracuse and Georgetown for the 6-10 shot-blocker who’s being called the best shot blocker of the past two decades. Yes, that would include the likes of Anthony Davis, Greg Oden and, Emeka Okafor.

So who’s gonna get him?

The video interview by Evan Daniels of Scout.com tries to glean some hints from Noel, who says that a family atmosphere will be important to him. But he says specific aspects of each program – Kentucky’s record for producing pros, Syracuse’s style and playing with former teammate Michael Carter-Williams and Georgetown’s offense that runs everything through the big man – appeal to him.

So start guessing. In the meantime, how about a highlights tape?
